The Everest Three Passes Trek with 3 Peaks Climbing is one of the most demanding and rewarding adventures in the Himalayas. This expedition links the famous Three Passes circuit of the Khumbu region with the ascent of three iconic trekking peaks: Island Peak (6,189 m), Lobuche East (6,119 m), and Pokalde Peak (5,806 m). Designed for experienced trekkers who want more than a standard Everest Base Camp trek, this journey combines high‑altitude trekking, glacier travel, and mountaineering.
Your adventure begins with a spectacular mountain flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. From there, the trail winds through Sherpa villages, rhododendron forests, and deep river valleys toward the bustling mountain town of Namche Bazaar. Along the route, you experience the culture of the Khumbu, visit ancient monasteries, and enjoy views of some of the world’s highest peaks including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu.
The route crosses the three legendary high passes of the Everest region: Kongma La (5,535 m), Cho La (5,420 m), and Renjo La (5,360 m). Each pass offers dramatic panoramas of glaciers, icefall valleys, and towering Himalayan summits. The trek also includes visits to Everest Base Camp, the viewpoint of Kala Patthar, and the turquoise lakes of Gokyo Valley.
Beyond trekking, the expedition adds the thrill of climbing three Himalayan peaks. Pokalde offers a relatively short but scenic climb with spectacular views. Lobuche East introduces more technical mountaineering with fixed ropes and glacier travel. The highlight is the ascent of Island Peak, whose summit ridge provides unforgettable views across the Khumbu glacier basin.
This adventure demands strong fitness, previous trekking experience, and determination at altitude. In return, it delivers one of the most complete Himalayan experiences—combining remote trekking routes, Sherpa culture, high mountain passes, and true Himalayan summits.
