After that, we will guide you to explore the Patan Durbar Square including the renowned Golden Temple. Next, you will go to visit the Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the biggest stupas in the world. Walking in the street, you will find that you are surrounded by monks, temples and stores filled with Tibetan books and butter.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
The first stop today is the Swayambunath Chaitya, where you can overlook the whole Kathmandu Valley on top of it. Then continue your visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is also a good place for admiring the Nepal temples. In the square, you can see the Temple of Kumari – the vestal virgin or the living goddess, Hanuman Dhoka – the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev and Parvati Temple, and Machhender Bahl. Afternoon is free for you to explore the city on your own.
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Chitwan and check in at the hotel upon arrival. Royal Chitwan National Park is not only the largest wild animal park in Nepal, but also one of the biggest forest parks of Asia. The park has more than 50 mammals including deer, rhinoceroses, wild boar, Bengal tigers, wild elephant and 525 kinds of birds, such as kingfishers, hawk, hornbill etc. It is a good chance to see tigers and other rare animals in February and March. There are three things you should not miss in the park, one is to see rhinoceroses by riding elephant, another is bird watching in canoe and the third is hiking in the park (guide is needed due to the safety reason).
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
The exciting adventure in the park starts today. Taking an elephant ride around the jungle for one and a half hour. You can do it at 08:00 in the morning or 16:00 in the afternoon. It is a very special experience to observe the life style of wild animals from the back of elephant. If you are lucky enough, you will see the rhinoceroses and Bengal tigers. Canoeing along the Rapti River is a very popular way. Sitting on the boat to watch waterfowls, crocodiles and even the Gangetic dolphin is quite relaxing and memorable. Compared with the previous comfortable experience, jungle walk is more exciting and requires high physical energy. Following with the experienced guide, you will explore deep in the jungle and have a close contact with the wildlife.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today, we will drive you back to Kathmandu and check in the hotel. Have a good rest for the rest of the day. In the evening, a nice dinner with the culture dance show is served at a local nice restaurant.
