Langtang valley trekking gets ever more exciting and memorable with the team of Pariwar Holidays Pvt. Ltd. This valley lies 19 miles north of Kathmandu valley. Due to various Himalayan glaciers flowing around this valley, the valley is also known as “the valley of glaciers”. Even though so many mountains can be seen from this valley, Langtang Lirung (7246) stands as the most dominating one. Along the trail, one can behold the beautiful and scenic view of pine forest, swift mountain streams, rugged rocks, snow-capped peaks, grassy meadows and various ancient Buddhist monasteries.
The trek starts from Syabru Bensi. From Kathmandu, to reach Syabru Bensi, it takes around 8 hours in a bus. The trail follows the Langtang River to the east until we get to Kyangjin Gompa (3,049 m). The trek of around four days leads us to the Langtang Valley. Since this valley is close to the Tibetan border, the culture and lifestyles of the people there are highly influenced by the Tibetan culture. From the top of the mountain, we get to see 360 degree mountain views. Once we complete our trek, we trace back our way from Kyangjin Ri towards Syabru Bensi. From there, we drive back to Kathmandu.
